The Fork Mount attaches to the KLR250 lower fork casting with 6 mm stainless fasteners and has a platform with screw holes that fit the hole pattern in the bottom of the tool bag. Stainless steel fasteners attach the bag to the platform using screws, fender washers, and nylon insert lock nuts. A closed cell Neoprene pad is supplied to protect the contents from the #10 hardware. |

In order to minimize the interference with the headlight beam at night, two small bungees or a small belt or strap can be used to hold down the front edge. |

The tool bag does not block the headlight beam as long as the forward edge is held down with a strap or bungee. |
| Before you order check your bike to be sure the Tool Bag Fork Mount will fit. Measure the distance between the center of the two holes in the fork casting just below the headlight, if it is 4 cm (1.57") the KLR-TBFM will fit. | ![]() |
By moving the Tool Bag to the front of the bike, you will have room to mount one of the Rear Deck Products. The KLR-135-RD is a full size Rear Cargo Deck for carrying a wide variety of loads. The KLR-54-RD Mini Rear Deck which covers the gap over the rear fender, provides a stable platform to carry your lunch box, soft cooler or small sports bag. |
